Uptown Bay City Honored with Engineering Award
February 4, 2015 • WorkBay City, Mich. – Uptown Bay City won an Engineering Merit Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Michigan, through the work conducted by ROWE Professional Services Company.
The project will be presented with the award at the Engineering & Surveying Excellence Awards Gala in February. According to ACEC/Michigan’s website, “The statewide competition recognizes engineering achievements that demonstrate a high degree of client satisfaction through innovative, cost-effective solutions.”
Uptown Bay City is a mixed-use, 35-acre riverfront development, with corporate offices, retail stores, residential condominiums and restaurants. Businesses joining Uptown include Dow Corning, McLaren Bay Region, Chemical Bank, a Courtyard by Marriott hotel and the Real Seafood Co. restaurant. The development company, Shaheen Development, is a family-owned real estate development firm that focuses on growth and redevelopment within the Great Lakes Bay Region.
