Don Angelos Honored as a “Salon of the Year”

BAY CITY, MI – Don Angelos Aveda Lifestyle Salon in Bay City’s Uptown development was named third runner-up in Salon Today’s nationally acclaimed “Salons of the Year” interior design competition.

The salon, located at 15 E. Main and owned by brothers Angelo and Donovan Ortega, was featured in the June 2016 issue of Salon Today magazine, the leading business publication for the professional salon industry.

“Our panel of judges loved how the Ortegas embraced every square foot of their space, innovatively creating a salon, spa, retail area, nail department and barbering experience all in 2,050 square feet,” Stacey Soble, editor-in-chief of SALON TODAY said in a statement. “Design highlights included the glass wall enclosing the salon area, the boutique-style retail area, the custom-designed pedicure relaxation loungers and the rich finishes throughout.”
